Ninazu was a Mesopotamian god of health, "lord healer" (according to some accounts we found) or the god of water (according to others).

Ninazu Health Products is a Canadian family business. It all started when our son developed ADHD/Asperger syndrome-like symptoms during a very stressful three months period. Luckily, he never qualified for a label because his symptoms were not consistently present, but this also made things more puzzling. Then, at the end of the three months he had chicken pox. Two weeks after the chicken pox his symptoms got much worse and he also developed a very bad case of skin rash (itchy, dry skin). He had the rash on and off during the three months but we never thought much of it and, until his chicken pox, we did not make the connection between his behavioral and dermatological symptoms. Once we did, we knew there was something very fundamentally wrong and we set out to find out what it might be.

Having a background in science (Ph.D. in Neuroscience and M.S. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) we did what came natural, we started reading. Soon we identified candidiasis as a possible explanation and a product - ThreeLac - that might be useful (or at least would do no harm). Well, within a week our son's symptoms started to disappear, but it took over a month to be past all the die-off effects. We also started supplementing his diet with glyco- and phytonutrients, that, we believe have greatly contributed to his recovery process.

This was great but now we were faced with the problem of having to explain it all to our satisfaction. So we again did what came natural and headed to the library and the Internet. And what we found was both fascinating and its potential implications frightening. We felt that there was a need to somehow raise public awareness about candidiasis in a context that is not being widely known.

We reviewed information found both in mainstream scientific literature and in sources offering alternative views. The review is not comprehensive, but the essence of our searches is found on this site. We tried to write in a way that is simple enough so that most readers will find it understandable, but not so simple to lose accuracy. We provide references and a large number links where you can find more detailed information and further references. We will keep updating and expanding our site, so please check back.

At the time we discovered it, we could buy ThreeLac only from the US, and it took about three weeks to get an order. This gave us the idea to establish a web site that would be educational, and that would also be a source of products we found useful but that are not widely known and/or hard to get in Canada. We hope we achieved our goal and that we have been able to help you find what you where looking for.
